How to apply passport through online

An Indian passport is a travel document issued by the Government of India to Indian citizens for international travel. 1) visit passport seva kendra official website www.passportindia.gov.in

2) Then click on new register option in the homepage

3) After registration login to the website using login ID

4) Select apply for fresh passport or re-issue of passport

5) Fill in the details in application form and click submit button

6) Then click on Pay and Schedule Appointment link on the submitted Applications on screen to book an appointment

7) Using debut/credit card, Internet Banking, SBI bank challan can pay for booking an appoinment

8) Select ‘Print Application Receipt’ option and that contain all of details including appoinment number etc.

9) Visit Regional passport office on the day which appoinment has been schduled and take all of your original documents
