How to download Pancard online

PAN card (Permanent Account Number card) is a unique 10-digit alphanumeric code issued by the Income Tax Department of India to individuals and entities for the purpose of identification and tracking of their financial transactions. PAN card is mandatory for all individuals, including foreigners, who earn taxable income in India, irrespective of whether they are residents or non-residents.

It is also required for various financial transactions such as opening a bank account, investing in securities, buying or selling immovable property, etc. The PAN card contains the PAN number, name of the cardholder, photograph, and date of birth. It is a crucial document for tax-related purposes and should be kept safe and secure.

e-PAN is an electronic version of a Permanent Account Number (PAN) card issued by the Indian government’s Income Tax Department. It is a digitized version of the physical PAN card and contains the same information as the physical card, such as the holder’s name, PAN number, date of birth, and photograph.

The e-PAN is generated in PDF format and can be downloaded from the Income Tax Department’s website by individuals who have applied for a PAN card. The process of obtaining an e-PAN is the same as obtaining a physical PAN card, and individuals can apply for it online or offline.
